项目概述
“Mr.vast”是一个关于将海洋内测波数据可视化的投影艺术项目。将南中国海这片海洋区域拟人化为Vast先生，通过processing的代码算法，将内含于海洋内的科学勘测数据与真实的人类心跳结合，将大海拟人化，通过投影媒介把视觉形态展现给观众，鼓励观众与自然生物共情，探索自然界的生命情感变化，传达给喜欢自然喜欢海洋的观众——当你跟海洋说你爱它的时候，其实大海也深爱着你。
Context
Mr. Vast is a projection art project about the visualisation of wave measurement data within the sea. It combines the scientific survey data collected from the South China Sea with real human heartbeats through a processing code algorithm and calls the anthropomorphic representation Mr. Vast.
The anthropomorphisation of the sea is presented to the audience through the medium of projection, encouraging the audience to empathise with natural creatures and explore the emotional changes of life in nature. It conveys to those who love the nature and sea that when you tell the sea that you love it, the sea actually loves you, too.
