In the work ‘Be Ankerwycke Yew’, the author has created a Quadraphonic sound space consisting of four acoustic devices and invites the viewer to enter the room and experience the living environment of the Ankerwycke Yew tree in South West London through the sensory channel of sound. The project aims to allow people to have a ‘nature connectedness’ with the tree and to re-examine their relationship with nature through an immersive sound experience.
